Head - Production Operation - Manufacturing (15-22 yrs)

We are looking great and the best candidates for below mentioned position in a global company in Bangalore, Manufacturing Manager - Production.

Qualifications:

- Education/degree

- BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

- Six Sigma Black belt

Work experience/Skills :

- Min 15 years of experience for B.E excluding Training period.

- Hands on experience in using problem solving tools like 8D, seven qc tools

- Hands on experience in SPC, MSA, PFMEA

- Ability to work in a logical, systematic manner with SAP knowledge.

- Ability to handle Trade Union, wages negotiations and able to maintain conducive

Requirements and Responsibility:

- Responsible for achieving plant KPI by periodically reviewing, analyzing and taking appropriate actions by effectively collaborating with cross functional teams

- Develop, coach and lead team of production and production engineering supervisors towards meeting the department objectives derived from plant KPI

- Responsible for upkeeping and managing of production machineries, assembly and test equipment's.

- Should have good knowledge in CNC, conventional machining and assembly and testing of motors.

- Responsible for handling new products and special processes without affecting the regular production.

- Ability to develop the multiskill in employees to bring the flexibility in production.

- Should be part of IBP (Integrated business plan) supplier review and present to the India leadership team on resource (Men and Machine) availability and requirements every month based on forecast for the window 4 to 18 months.

- Should have implementation and managing knowledge of ISO 9001 activities related to production

- Develop and motivate the sub ordinates (direct workers) to meet and exceed established labor hours in all areas of production.

- Receive and route the Work Order properly and ensure the labor hours are fed back into the system.

- Notify management of any issues that may impact shipments, cost, quality, personnel morale or company reputation

- Responsible for WIP and shop floor inventory. Conduct stock verification every month and publish report.

- Responsible for maintaining people management, discipline and healthy Industrial Relations in the shop floor.

- Maintain compliance with systems and procedures, company policies, safety standards and good house keeping practices

- Should have knowledge on 5S, lean, workplace organization, TPM, EHS, NVA, process approach

- To participate in recruitment, performance management and appraisal of Supervisors and Group leaders.

- Able to handle day to day issues related to employees.

- Should have good knowledge in Process FMEA, CP, PFD, SPC, MSA Poka yoke and other tools within organization.

- Ability to develop and deploy strategic objectives of the organization.

- Have Knowledge in Lean methods and principles.

- Should have thorough knowledge in Lean manufacturing system and drive it across the plant.

- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and clients

- Strong negotiation skills for getting materials within budget at the right time

- Ability to work under pressure and multitask

- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines a results-driven approach to work

- Ability to work in a logical, systematic manner with SAP knowledge.

- Ability to handle Trade Union, wages negotiations and able to maintain conducive environment to improve the morale of the employees

- Proven capabilities in these key behavioral competencies

- Adaptability; building strategic working relationships across functions; decision making; initiating action and aligning team performance for success

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Other skills, experiences or highly desirable qualifications :

- The incumbent must be a proficient user of various statistical, spreadsheet, word processing, and database software packages
