Head - Production - Manufacturing Industry (12-20 yrs)
Fast growing energy storage division, of a large business group is looking for Head Production.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Overall management of day to day activities within production ensuring customer requirements are met in a timely, compliant, safe and cost-effective manner.
- Champion Operational Excellence programmes and implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices like Lean / Kaizen / 5S.
- Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
- Work with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and all relevant teams to ensure site qualification and validation is conducted successfully.
- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
- Overseeing production processes by planning and organizing production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements, and estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
- Manage people issues including hiring, training and performance management etc. in consultation with HR.
- Resolve any non-conformance in the manufacturing system by timely and effective corrective action.
