Head - Production - Automotive

1. To maintain discipline and proper administration in the premise

2. To meet Target production per day, per week or /month as per Project Planning and schedule

3. Maintain proper QA process for the entire Unit to have less rejections and wastages

4. In depth knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and its several applications in Fabrication work, ensuring good quality welding, precision machining, Press formations, CNC Machine operations, sound exposure to nesting & CNC Plasma-cutters, etc.

5. Should have proper experience and idea of following the Mechanical Engineering drawings and further cascading it to departmental targets, simpler drawings, while strictly adhering to process engineering and QA norms (product based)

6. Must be able to design and make Jigs and Fixtures needed for the mass production/ special product

7. Should encourage ideation within team for process improvements and Jugaad innovations, if needed

8. Basic knowledge of Quality testing process as required by customers like Indian Railways and Defence

9. Have to be cost conscious while production planning and scheduling, should be innovative in reducing energy cost, check redundancy for process improvements

10. Prior experience of dealing with RDSO and Defence /DRDO Officials would be an added advantage

11. Should be able to control SCM and Logistics activities properly for the Unit through Dept. Head

12. To ensure Shop floor Production Safety measures and taking care of SHE for the Unit

13. Need to use manpower in optimum ways per shift to maintain production targets

14. Production automation, Robotics knowledge would be advantage for future developments

15. Should be overall commercial oriented to understand and improve P&L of the Unit
