Head - Production - Automobile Manufacturing Plant

Position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Looking for Bengali speaking Indian Candidates. Position is for a Recognised Indian commercial Vehicle Automobile Manufacturing Plant.

Production Head - Role and Responsibilities.

1. Manage the production process, drawing up a production schedule, make decisions about proper utilization of equipment, Maintenance, Modification and Procurement.

2. Supports and promotes the companies Guiding Principles and the Quality Policy.

3. Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations, implement improvements to the production process, prepare and maintain production reports.

4. General management tasks - Planning & execution of tasks to achieve monthly productions targets, Monitoring the progress of the production process, Planning and Organizing, Manpower planning, line up of material for smooth production, etc.

5. Meet all customer commitments through the production of timely, efficient and high quality products and service.

6. Ensure process audits & product audits are conducted as per plan and timely closure of NCs

7. Manage timely analysis & actions of Red Table process rejections to reduce line rejection cost

8. Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes.

9. Assist & Ensure training of employees in all department.

10. Analyzes production schedules and estimates labor requirements for completion of job assignment.

11. Recommends measures to improve production methods, safe working conditions, and quality of product.

12. Develop, Train and implement Quality systems and get ISO or TS 16949 certification.

Educational qualifications:

Engineering Degree - Mechanical/Automotive/Operations related qualification.

Local experience in Bangladesh in Garment industry

Relevant experience:

8 - 10+ years Relevant Experience in Garment / Automotive Manufacturing process, Assembly Engineering and Process Planning. Age Limit max 35 years.

Skills:

- Ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems & to work in a logical, systematic manner.

- Literacy to deal with various technologies and programmes.

- The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with the team, managers and clients.

- Local Language - Bangla is a must

- Strong negotiation skills for getting materials within budget and at the right time.
