Role and Responsibilities:

- The role holder will be Heading the product development for the AMC and will be responsible for creating new Mutual Fund products & and in managing the existing ones.

- Responsible for identifying new product opportunities in domestic market and launching new products complying with the regulatory guidelines.

- Developing and maintaining a broad knowledge and awareness of the investment industry, intermediary channel forces, competition, and trends that may impact companies MF success in the market.

- Supporting Sales by developing presentations, sales pitch, research and commentary about the funds, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and index construction methodology.

- Partnering with Sales to meet with key clients to discuss MF Products and MF industry trends, and to provide ad hoc competitive product analysis.

- Assisting in the development of strategic planning for the MF Team

- Assisting and coordinating with sales / marketing for all domestic and international Due Diligence reports and marketing collaterals and conducting product performance benchmarking.

- Developing and conducting Product learning modules for sales and other teams

Skills & Competencies:

- Knowledge and application of regulatory guidelines pertaining to products / advertising

- Detailed understanding of the Business and product presence and positioning

- Knowledge of competition products as well as similar offering across financial services

- Thorough understanding of regulatory framework of the industry

- Expert in product and portfolio positioning, implications etc

- Knowledge of how industry works on the business side - distribution, IAP etc

- Ability to drive initiatives independently as well as collaborating & coordinating with a large number of stakeholders

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills - written & verbal; ability to produce effective reports & presentations

- Positive and enthusiastic attitude

- Result oriented approach with a problem-solving attitude.

Qualification:

- MBA & Graduate

- CFA or progress towards the same preferable

- Strong knowledge of business processes & the markets is desirable.

- Mutual Fund industry experience is must.
