Role: Head - Product

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: CTO

Job summary:

The Head - Product shall be responsible for managing wide range of product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering and business to deliver winning functionalities and features.

Prerequisites or skill set:

- Experience of working on a modern scalable technology product from inception, go-to-market and scaling up

- Closely worked with business and engineering teams and having a knack to easily understand design, technical and market aspects.

- Managing a team of APMs and PMs

Qualifications:

- Master's degree from premier institution

- 8 to 10 years of overall experience

- At least 3-4 years' experience in a matured Product organisation

Key activities:

- Build and grow range of product catering to core need of target customer segment

- Build and manage a team of APMs and PMs

- Drive product development in agile setup with cross functional team incl engineering and business

- Deliver the product KPIs - both financial and non-financial

- Determine and capture the customers' needs and desires through market research and customer interactions

- Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraise new product ideas and/or product changes.

- Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.

- Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs;

- Prepare return-on-investment analyses; establish time schedules and project plans with engineering and design teams

- Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data

- Contribute to continuous evolution of the product. Enable iteration of the functionalities and features in pursuit of Product-market fit
