Head/VP Product Management - Healthcare App Client : Our client has an industry leading product in the healthcare provider space, connecting users/doctors/other stakeholders. Role Overview : - Client is looking for highly motivated product leaders who have a strong passion towards bringing a transformative change in healthcare and wellness sector and have demonstrated the ability to build world-class products. - Candidate shall be the driver of the continuous development of the product, aiming at health and wellness sector. Be the strategic owner of the performance of the business, by visualizing the future and rationalizing the current goals, priorities & efforts of all business functions. Build a coherent strategy to achieve expected business outcomes. Besides, also leverage internal capabilities to drive the development of new products that are critical to plug into the continuously evolving ecosystem. The key abilities they are looking at are : - Wear multiple hats of product leader and business head for portfolio of apps; - Leadership skills to build and lead a team of product management professionals, engineers and designers; - Creative lateral thinking abilities for identifying gaps in the healthcare and wellness service/product -delivery; - Experience in building world-class products; - Deep experience in integrating customer needs, product design and technology; - Highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial drive to excel; - Can build a goals oriented culture essential to achieve both the social and business goals of the enterprise; Key Responsibilities : Strategy : - Setting up of business goals and product roadmap - Continuously monitor and improve the business and operational strategies for owned apps; extend tactical support to portfolio companies - Study market trends, visualize customer needs and evaluate gaps in product portfolio - Monitor progress through well-defined business metrics - Should be able to harness platform level synergies across the entire portfolio of owned apps and portfolio companies Product Development : - Own the product roadmap for apps under development - Institute a research based consultative process to introduce product changes and build across the broad consensus - Guide standardization of product development process for owned apps and of that of portfolio firms - Work with cross functional teams to define go-to-market strategy, marketing plan, pricing behaviour and sales strategy Internal Operations : - Hire and develop strong team of product managers; - Establish a clear roadmap for feature level development and translate the requirements to product managers, engineers and designers; ensure timely and high quality execution; - Establish and execute a culture of ownership and performance orientation; Customer Support : - Build a customer feedback process and integrate that with product development and product strategy improvement; - Periodically undertake studies to assess client satisfaction and needs; - Reporting & information systems - Establish planning, recording and reporting systems; - Manage MIS for collaborative effective decision making; Ideal Candidate Profile : - Should have minimum 8 years of experience working in consumer centric internet product companies with globally diversified customer set - Should have at least 2 years in leading a product management team or at a venture capital firm; or an entrepreneur who has built excellent products; preferably should have technology background - In-depth understanding of healthcare industry and an avid researcher of its emerging trends; Strong leadership skills, should have managed team of at least 10 people - Should be a peoples person with strong team building/ nurturing and mentoring capabilities - Strong business acumen and understanding of the commercial/ trade practices in healthcare/wellness environment; - Should be innovative and extremely motivated Compensation : Best in the industry plus profit share
