Head - Product Management - Footwear (10-20 yrs)
A reputed and fast growing Footwear Company based at Bangladesh is looking for a Head-Product Management to lead it's Footwear & related Product Portfolio & strategy.
The Head - Product Management will have the opportunity and responsibility to help monitor and shape the performance of the business, taking on critical challenges and contributing to the overall strategy, business growth and profitability. Key challenge for this role is to continue to innovate / launch products contemporary to market and customer expectations. The incumbent will need to understand the market dynamics and think ahead of its competition to become successful.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Bachelors degree in Business / B.Sc. in Leather / Footwear Engineering / Social Science. MBA in Marketing will be preferable.
- Provide vision for different products to create benefits and value proposition for a customer, which in turn will translate into revenue and profitability.
- Develop, get approval and execute footwear and non-footwear products portfolio strategy to sustain competitive advantage and market leadership in the local footwear industry.
- Develop annual buying plan based on Annual budget and Business Plan.
- Execute existing and new product line strategy to ensure annual sales volume, sales thru.
- Develop, Review, get Approval and Execute Products pricing Strategy to ensure maximize profit margin and demand.
- Drive Market research to understand the customer experience, market insights and competition activities to ensure that Products are highly valued by the customers.
- Analyze market and competitive conditions to strike a clear path towards the business value of the product and make that clear to the team.
- Provide hands-on leadership and direction to a team of Product Management towards achieving of overall targets.
MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE OF:
- Acting as a Functional head in Product / Category / Retail management in FMCG, Retail, Fashion or relevant Industry.
- Clear Understanding on product portfolio management and strategy.
- Market research, customer and competitor insights and interpretation.
- Clear Understanding of financial numbers and ratios and how it impacts in the business.
- Sales planning and inventory control.
- Financial planning and strategy.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:
- Product Roadmap.
- Success rate of new or existing products.
- Product Planning Business Opportunity Analysis.
- Appropriate pricing of articles under product category.
