Head - Product Management - Consumer Internet/Online

Role Description :

- Head of Product Management will be responsible for driving the product strategy and executing the Business/Customer need by integrating with the Technology/ Engineering Teams. He/She will be responsible for driving the product definition, requirements, design and delivery of new and/or adaptation of current offerings for markets.

- The role will be responsible for delivering high quality, innovative solutions which delight the customers, adopted by the market and competitively differentiated. The incumbent will be responsible for managing timely deliverables by working with cross functional teams.

- As a core member of the executive management team, he/she will be an - Out of the Box- thinker, conceptualize new product ideas and deliver them to customers. He will enhance user experience and customer stickiness.

Requirements :

- Engineering background and preferably a MBA with at least 8-15 years of experience, preferably from an consumer online-travel/internet background

- Experience with all stages of the product lifecycle from product conceptualization till implementation.

- Proven ability to build teams and lead organizations in a rapidly growing environment with experience in managing the product managers.

- Analytic & strong problem-solving capabilities evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities and competitive threats.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and influence executives, business leaders, and technology leaders within a matrixed organization.

- Bias towards swift action and hunger for results to figure out what's best for the customer, in short Driver Personality with Product Judgement skills.
