Job Opening for Product Head with Fin-Tech Company

Strategy - Responsible for setting lending platform's vision and strategy. Their job is to clearly articulate the business value to the various teams, so they understand the intent behind the new features or product release. The product manager owns the roadmap and must prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the lending platform.

Roadmap / Features - Prioritizes features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives. This requires making difficult trade-off decisions based on the value that new features will deliver to customers and to the business. The product manager is also responsible for defining the requirements for each feature and the desired user experience. Product managers work closely with technology and data science teams on the technical specifications and ensure that teams have all of the information they need to deliver a complete product to market.

Ideation - Owns the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas. They determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the product strategy forward - namely those that will achieve key objectives for the business. To this end, they also ensure that feedback and requests are seamlessly integrated into their product planning and development processes. Product managers then communicate the status of ideas back to the customers, partners, and internal team members who submitted them

Releases - Defines the release process and coordinates all of the activities required to bring the digital lending platform to market. This involves bridging gaps between different functions within the company and aligning all of the teams involved - namely marketing, sales, operations, credit and customer support. Responsibilities also include managing dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestones.

Adoption - Ensures that the roadmap items and features released are being adopted within the teams and overall business benefits from the investment in the technology platform features and roadmap.

Requirements :

- An ideal candidate will bring both deep technical and PM leadership expertise, strong business acumen and judgment, ability to define deep understanding of our customer markets and the strong desire to bring clarity to ambiguity.

- Drive alignment with business and technical leadership through both verbal and written communication

- The position is of cross-functional nature and this implies a high level of collaboration with different departments and different levels. The candidate partners up with other departmental leaders in order to align and execute product strategies and ensure that each department receives the right level of support due from its colleagues.

- The candidate works very closely with the engineering department, sales, operations, credit, marketing, and other departments to deliver on the roadmap.

Qualifications :

- B.Tech and MBA from a premier institute

- Minimum of 7 years of experience, 3+ years of which must be in product management position

- Financial Analysis skills

- C- Level communication skills, both written and oral/presentation

- Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.

- Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Have Industry knowledge of lending / fintech domain

- Have built and shipped enterprise lending platforms before
