Head - Product Engineering - IT

Exp : 6 - 14 Years

In this role, you will be:

- Work with CXOs to understand the business and build relevant solutions

- Engage in the end-to-end life cycle of product - from design to product launch

- Should be able to build cost effective reliable systems for scale

- Design and build the Engineering team; define the right culture for the team

- Lead the cost/benefit analysis of technology evaluations, decisions, and roadmap planning for architecture and technical migration

- Enable the team to achieve excellent results by actively engaging in their career paths

- Achieve measurable improvements in the organization s capabilities and effectiveness to perform against expanding workload and demands for services.

- Exclusively use and enable teams to adopt and follow best practices in code development and deployment

- Experience with agile methodologies and automated testing

- Evaluate and improvise appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company services

- Overseeing business cases with time estimates on the implementation of new or revised systems and technologies

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of products.

- Collaborate with multiple teams to define, design, and ship new features

Required Skills:

- Minimum 2+ years of experience leading product engineering teams.

- Lead engineering initiatives to improve coding and design standards.

- Identifying key competency gaps and facilitating training for the engineering team.

- Researching, designing and implementing new platform features.

- Conduct technical demos and proof-of-concepts with pre-sales engineering team.

- Shown team leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to get things done.

- Experience working with front-end technologies React.js, Next.js, React Native, Redux, Formik, Webpack

- Experience working with back-end technologies like Node.js (Express.js, Sails.js, Nest.js), DB: MySQL, ElasticSearch, .

- Experience working with caching Layer: Redis. S3 Cloud Services: AWS

- Providing technical leadership to the engineering teams building the platform features.

- Recruiting, mentoring and developing a high performance engineering team.
