Job Overview :

The candidate will be responsible for managing overall Product engineering (Manage Technical Debt, Saasification, Architecting, etc.) for all existing and new products being envisaged - driving intense client satisfaction and being conscious of cloud and profitability. In addition, the candidate will build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and demonstrate the appropriate level of gravitas in engaging with CXOs.

She/He will build/ strengthen the product engineering team and lay a process-centric approach to achieve critical outcomes of client satisfaction, employee satisfaction, revenue, and profitability. She/He will focus on improving technology/engineering to best-in-class, eking out quarter-on-quarter improvements through technology roadmaps. Technology Improvement and Automation will be critical levers she/he must be competent in.

Responsibilities and Duties:

People Management:

- Creating a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture.

Engineering:

- Defining and documenting technology migration from non-cloud stacks to cloud-native stacks.

- Technology Agnostic Design approach for migration or new solutions.

- Strong on AWS managed services offerings.

- Have experience in creating migration tools from legacy technologies to the latest technologies

- Have good knowledge of ACID and BASE data storage.

- Strong in algorithms and design patterns.

- Should have knowledge of Engineering documentation and set up Quality and Security standards in an agile way.

- Knowledge of Product to Platform Approach, Infrastructure as a Code and Serverless implementation

- Define roadmap from single-tenant applications to multi-tenant applications

Customer Relationship:

Assessing customer feedback and using your creativity to establish, improve, and refine the technology.

Revenue and Optimization:

- Determining ways to reduce costs with changing technology without sacrificing customer satisfaction.

- Find ways to optimise spending on the cloud by moderating the right configurations.

Leadership:

Provide guidance and support to the leadership team on the technology landscape, make or buy decision for the ecosystem requirement

Business Domain:

Retail or Supply Chain Preferrable.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills :

A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Product Engineering driving B2B IT product/ services and leadership experience in a Products/SaaS/ IT services organisation

Hands-on knowledge with Java, Python, Visual Basic, MYSQL, MSSQL and NO SQL databases.

Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment

Proven record of driving strong client satisfaction

Strong in driving key SaaS metrics

Mentoring and coaching team members to realise the overall objectives of the team.

Any Solution Architecture certification from AWS or Azure
