Head - Product Development/Product Management - R&D - Telecom

Position summary: Lead architecture of overall product strategy for all business lines with critical focus on roaming, by actively and proactively participating in customer conversations and industry forums. Create and own the execution road map for the entire suite of products.

Key role tenets

- Proactively understand business and product strategies of telecom operators by forging deep relationships with customer organizations.

- Understand evolving technology trends by engaging regularly with CTO organizations

- Constantly ideate and explore new products/features to leverage existing and emerging needs amongst partner telecom operators and consumers

- Identify opportunities to participate in and represent in various relevant forums and provide thought leadership to position as a leading strategic partner.

- Lead a team of product managers and ensure achievement of product road map goals by respective product managers

- Ensure a robust engagement framework with internal stakeholders such as engineering to ensure seamless and timely deployment of products/product features.

- Actively monitor and advocate adoption of new products/features by contributing to sales strategies.

- Actively embrace and encourage adoption of analytics based approach in identifying opportunities for new products/features

Desired Profile:

- Excellent articulation and influencing skills. Ability to communicate effectively in ambiguous situations.

- Ability to understand stated and unstated/emerging needs by having proactive crucial conversations with telecom operators and other industry influencers.

- High market acumen to proactively anticipate and shape new product opportunities

- Must be a self-starter, be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end to end, prioritize multiple priorities effectively and thrive in a dynamic environment.
