Head - Procurement - Real Estate (20-27 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Procurement Process Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and vendor selection to contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the procurement function.
Cost Management:
- Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Conduct regular cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assess and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels and optimize stock levels to minimize excess inventory and ensure timely availability of materials.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop and maintain procurement-related KPIs and metrics for regular reporting to senior management.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Environmental and Social Responsibility:
- Promote sustainable and responsible procurement practices, considering environmental and social impacts.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control.
