Head - Procurement - Non-Ferrous Metals Business

Role Overview:

- We are looking for an experienced Procurement Head for Non-Ferrous Metals to lead procurement operations across India, ensuring a seamless supply chain for copper, aluminum, zinc, and other non-ferrous metals.

- The ideal candidate will have deep market knowledge, strong supplier relationships, and a proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Procurement: Lead procurement operations for copper, aluminum, zinc, and other non-ferrous metals across India.

- Supplier & Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, traders, and manufacturers to negotiate optimal pricing and ensure consistent supply.

- Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: Identify the best sourcing strategies to optimize pricing, quality, and logistics while ensuring timely procurement.

- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting the non-ferrous metals industry.

- Operational Excellence: Manage procurement workflows, track inventory levels, streamline vendor contracts, and oversee purchase order execution.

- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with sales, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Requirements:

- Industry Expertise: 10+ years of experience in procurement of non-ferrous metals, especially copper and aluminum.

- Strong Network: Established relationships with key metal traders, manufacturers, and suppliers.

- Negotiation & Vendor Management: Proven ability to negotiate and optimize procurement contracts for cost efficiency.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, pricing patterns, and supply chain risks.

- Leadership & Execution: Ability to build and lead a procurement team while ensuring smooth operational execution.

- Pan-India Experience: Strong understanding of regional supply chains, logistics, and vendor ecosystems.
