Candidates Profile:

- Bachelor's of Science Degree in any discipline/ M.Sc. /MBA

- Milk Procurement & Dairy Development experience in management for 8-10 years

Job Profile:

Milk Sourcing Strategy : 

Develop the milk sourcing strategy to meet the current as well as future milk requirements and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy

Milk Supply Chain Management : 

- Design and implement the optimal supply chain model suitable for milk sourcing at optimal cost

- Establish a strong network of milk sourcing centres and efficient cold chain logistics to source adequate quantity as planned and transfer milk in appropriate storage conditions to manufacturing site

- Forecasts milk requirements in current as well as future in line with production planning

Farmer Development and Management : 

- Design and lead farmer development programs in India by leveraging the global expertise and understanding local market needs

- Provide value added knowledge to farmers through activities/ events designed, educate them on best practices and help them to increase their dairy productivity

Milk Extension :

- Expand milk sourcing pool by establishing and managing dedicated collection centres for FFD

- Design schemes to attract farmers, establish long term sustainable partnerships to ensure supply of their milk to FFD milk collection centres

Operational excellence and continuous improvement:

- Institutionalize a culture of continuous improvement in milk supply chain through data analytics and structured use of tools and techniques

- Drive operational excellence in Milk supply chain by capacity utilization, technology advancement in collection, transfer and storage of milk, enhancing quality monitoring systems, etc
