Job Profile:
-Milk Sourcing Strategy
- Develop the milk sourcing strategy in order to meet the current as well as future milk requirements and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy
- Study best practices being adopted in other markets/organisations as well as markets in milk supply chain and apply them while developing strategy for local market
- Interact with dairy farmers, communities to understand their needs, challenges and services required and include them in strategy development in order to build sustainable partnership with them
- Milk Supply Chain Management
- Design and implement the optimal supply chain model suitable for milk sourcing at optimal cost
- Establish a strong network of milk sourcing centres and efficient cold chain logistics to source adequate quantity as planned and transfer milk in appropriate storage conditions to manufacturing site
- Forecasts milk requirements in current as well as future in line with production planning
- Milk Extension
- Expand milk sourcing pool by establishing and managing dedicated milk chilling centres Operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Drive operational excellence in Milk supply chain by capacity utilization, technology advancement in collection, transfer and storage of milk, enhancing quality monitoring systems, etc
- People Safety & Food Safety and Quality
- Food Safety and Quality Accountabilities
