Head - Procurement & Logistics - Agriculture Domain

Designation: Procurement & Logistics Head

Client: One of the largest groups in Agriculture domain

Experience level - 10+ years

- We need candidates who have good experience in procurement and logistics. Can be from FMCG, Commodities, Mining or Manufacturing industry. Must understand international procurement, logistics operations in Africa, Europe, US, Asia and West Africa.

- The procurement candidate should have knowledge of heavy equipment (example - bulldozer, excavator, compactor, grader - machinery and spare - part), know where to find fertiliser, insecticide, herbicide.

- Should be open to work in West Africa,. The candidate must have experience in Africa or Middle East.

- The client has a lucrative salary and benefits structure and is best in the industry.

- They would prefer candidates currently working in South East Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore or China) or Africa.

Responsibilities :

- Take a lead in the development and implementation of a logistics and sourcing policy and procedure to guide all operational activities across the organisation.

- Plan and implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.

- Design guides for use in evaluating logistics programs or services.
