Head - Procurement - Logistics (12-15 yrs)

Role :
An ambitious, proven Head of Procurement with natural leadership and people management skills is required to oversee the warehouse (machinery and equipment), real estate (land acquisition/rental facility), logistics division (Trucks and transport), IT Assets (CCTV, IT infra) and Operations and Office equipment of our group business (supply chain, logistics and demand chain).
Skills & Requirements :
- Masters's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred. MBA+ BE is Preferred.
- 12+ years of related work experience in Logistics/Supply Cain or other related industries.
- Legal exposure in related field is an added advantage.
- Love data - have strong analytical skills and use them to influence decisions.
- Well versed in all aspects of Procurement including but not limited to: Strategy Development, RFx drafting, supplier competition, negotiation strategies, contract drafting and negotiation. Experience in using SCM software and tools.
- Business insight: ability to understand an organization's business model, operations, financial goals.
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- People Management- Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.
- Reliable, self-managed individual with sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to perform multiple duties in a fast-paced work environment
