Job Responsibilities : - Lead sourcing strategy and initiatives supporting multiple commodities - Creating a procurement architecture - Perform role of India sourcing leader across all categories - Devise procurement, supply chain and logistics strategy for meeting business requirements, optimizing sub-contractor mix, leveraging synergy of operational activities across businesses/ projects and reducing overall operational costs - Streamline procurement and approval processes to move paper based approvals to an online system and reduce approval time - Develop, advocate and implement an India sourcing strategy with specific negotiation strategies to achieve cost, quality, lead time, delivery performance, flexibility, supply assurance and risk mitigation objectives Candidate Profile: - Qualification: Degree in any discipline. - Sector exposure: Should have expertise in direct procurement in the solar/wind industry - Proven experience in setting up and implementing the procurement architecture and SOPs for the firm - Ability to negotiate with vendors and obtain the highest quality of raw material/commodity at the best price - Strong experience in reducing raw material procurement costs - Must have complete understanding of the procurement, logistics and supply chain process
