We have an opening for Head Procurement for Bangalore location for our client deals in Food Industry .
Position : Head - Procurement
Location : Bangalore
Years of Exp : Minimum 15 - 20 years experience in commodities .
Role : Good exposure to commodity purchase / handle the procurement of Raw Materials / Packing Materials / Commodity for the whole company / Ability to manage team / Expert Negotiator
Others : Highly mobile / meeting suppliers / vendors etc
Qualification : MBA
Skills Required :
- Expert knowledge of commodity purchase and packing materials / engineering purchase
- Expert Negotiator
- Relationship building with vendors and other departments
- Ability to manage a team and develop them
- Highly mobile and ability to take quick decisions
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for overall purchase of raw, packaging and engineering materials for the company
- Responsible for improvement of system and process in buying
- Responsibility to bring in cost savings on the total spend
- Identifying and developing alternate vendors.
Candidates who are from FMCG/Food /Food & Beverages Industries preferred .
Candidates who has experience minimum 10 years in Commodities preferred .
