Position Summary:

The Head of Procurement for the Southeast Market will lead and manage all procurement activities for our operations in the region. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement of goods and services, while also building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy Development and Execution: Develop, implement, and manage the procurement strategy for the Southeast market to support business growth and sustainability.

- Cost Management: Continuously monitor market trends to achieve cost efficiencies and ensure that the company gets the best value for expenditure.

- Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team in the Southeast region to ensure operational excellence and achievement of key performance indicators.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.

- Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring that contracts reflect the best interests of the company.

- Reporting: Regularly report on procurement activities, savings, and market dynamics to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.

- Minimum of x years of experience in procurement, with at least x years in a leadership role. Experience in the Southeast market is preferred.

- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

- Proficient in procurement software and tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

- Proven track record in managing a team and driving results.

- In-depth knowledge of the Southeast market and its dynamics.
