Forecasting & Procurement

- This role Heads direct procurement for the lifestyle business, and is responsible for procuring wool, fibers, Yarn( responsible for all yarn including Cotton, PV, PW and other Side), Fabric ( responsible for both Grey and Finished fabrics including Cotton, PV and PW).

- Responsible for complete EXIM management at a lifestyle level.

- Lead the sourcing of materials (Yarn, fabric) for the best possible cost ensuring the highest quality .

- Analyze fabric needs across the brand and make recommendations to Production and Design for leveraging qualities across divisions

- Understand macroeconomic National and International environment for suitable advise to the management for achievement of organizational goal

- Understand and forecast the trends on vendor pricing and services to negotiate/terminate contracts

Vendor Development

- Locate and develop a network of vendors for sourcing of raw materials, products, services, capital equipments and general items and evaluate them according to product availability and terms of sales

- Evaluate the credentials and the delivery capacity of the vendors

- Developing & sustaining long - standing relationships with vendors

Process Implementation & Improvement

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for purchase and procurement of materials and equipment

- Explore alternate for the products in consultation with the Business Units to ensure operational efficiency and cost reduction opportunities

- Generate new ideas to ensure cost efficiency and reduce cost of raw materials

Interpret FTP and related documents

- Keep abreast on Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and derive the same to take informed decisions and maximise the benefits delivered by these policies
