Role Title : HOD - Procurement

Job Purpose :

(1) Ensure uninterrupted supply of goods

(2) Ensure optimum inventory

(3) Optimization in supply & storage costs

(4) Timely disposal of Scrap at the right price

(5) Being process owner - SA.

Principal Accountabilities :

1. Ensure un-interrupted supply of goods

2. Ensure optimum level of inventory

3. Bring about optimization in supply & storage costs

4. Ensure timely disposal of scrap in co-ordination with various agencies

5. Ensure GAM compliance with respect to material functions

6. Training need identification for Purchase personnel

7. Ensure complaince to SOP & API requirements

8. Module Lead in ARIBA Implementation

Principal Responsibilities :

1. Ensure availability of material at plant at the right time with the right quality.

2. Ensure effective stock management

3. Scrap Disposal / Slowing moving material disposal

4. Bring about savings during purchase of highly consumable items

5. Vendor Evaluation

6. Ensure adherance to SOP procedures
