Title : Head - Plant Operations (Epoxy Resin)

Designation : COO

Grade : M3/M2

Job Purpose: To lead Plant erection, commissioning & operations of Epoxy Resin Plant

Location : Jhagadia (Bharuch)

Reporting to : CEO

Age group Around 40 years

Experience in Plant erection, commissioning & operations of Epoxy Resin is mandatory.

CTC : 40 Lacs

Qualification: Strong techno-commercial qualifications, preferably B.E / B. Tech/ M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed college / university complimented with

MBA or Diploma in Management.

Minimum years of experience : 10-20 years

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for implementation of the Epoxy Resin project & plant commissioning within the stipulated scope, time, & cost.

- To Lead all functions at site i.e, manufacturing operations, maintenance, procurement, engineering, HSE & other disciplines.

- Planning & running of optimum "day to day" operations of plant. Introducing measures for regular monitoring of plant performance & timely corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement

- Responsible for manufacturing output, product quality, efficient assets utilisation, & achieving optimum production costs

- To introduce best in class, manufacturing techniques- Lean manufacturing, TPM, TPS, 5S, Just in time, kaizen, six sigma, etc.

- Ensuring compliance of all applicable laws & regulations.

- Forging strong relationships with all internal and external stake holders

- Performing risk management to identify & mitigate any risks

- Ensure adherence of all safety standards and best EHS practices

- Overall responsibility for efficient operations and profitability of the plant

ACCOUNTABILITY :

- Successful Plant erection, Commisioning and smooth operations

- Ensuring maximum production output, superior product-quality, with optimum costs

- Safe operation with zero accidents. Ensure compliance of all statutory regulations

- Motivate work force & maintain high degree of employee morale & safety

- Ensuring manufacturing facility is certified for ISO-9000, IS-14000 & OSHAS compliance.

- Identify training and development needs and effective implementation

Experience / Exposure :

- Thorough knowledge of plant operations preferably in the field of Epoxy Resins, & allied products such as:- (LER, SER, Reactive diluents, Multi-functional epoxies, Curing agents)

- Significant experience at senior level in plant operations, commissioning and projects. Able to handle complex business operations.

- Strong exposure of capacity debottlenecking & trouble-shooting in a batch / continuous process industry, preferably in area of Epoxy resins or chemical industry

- Good knowledge of DCS system, plant-automation, utility operations & maintenance.

- Good knowledge of TPM, Six sigma concepts, productivity/process improvement

- Good knowledge of SAP/ERP systems

- Committed to EHS, Plant safety and HAZOP
