Salary Range : Rs 60-90 Lacs
Job Description :
Responsible for Planning, leading, directing and controlling the day-to-day manufacturing operations including all aspects of production, process, human resources, materials and finance activities with the objective of achieving the Unit production targets, delivery schedules, quality & competitive output, turnover & cost reduction in keeping with the budget, compliance, quality, EHS and other parameters and guidelines laid down by the organization
Operations :
1. Plan, implement and review production strategy and plan
2. Evaluate, develop and implement a variety of operating policies and procedures to ensure that the unit meets its current and future production targets and quality standards
3. Order Execution & Annual Production Plan via resource optimization
4. Materials efficiency to maintain/reduce cost
EHS :
1. Direct and oversee health & safety policy and procedures of the organization
2. Ensuring workplace is in compliance with Stat and organizations safety guidelines
3. Implement initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents, occupational illness and long-term health hazard
Quality :
1. Implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures
2. Drive any necessary culture change and improvement in business performance to deliver strategic goals
3. Actively lead the PPM defect reduction
4. Implement new quality processes and systems
5. Ensure that corrective actions are delivered, and non-compliance issues resolved
Inventory :
1. Plan, review & take measures for inventory control
2. Monitor & control RM,PM,FG & work in progress inventory to maintain production plans
Productivity :
1. Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of a site wide improvement strategy
2. Champion change across teams to deliver performance and development
3. Prepare, implement and monitor the Annual Operating Plan for productivity, performance index, extra cost, idle time and monitor the same periodically, set correction courses to achieve and exceed plans
4. Set and monitor the performance of the Unit against standards and targets in areas of manufacturing , efficiency, cost control, dispatch, revenue, legal compliance and human resource management
People Management :
1. Supervising, Coaching, mentoring, guiding and motivating team
2. Identifying training needs and capability building
3. Identifying, recognizing and recommending rewards for performance in order to motivate the workforce and ensure smooth working
4. Engaging with Trade Union representative and workmen to ensure smooth shop floor operations
5. Resolve IR problems
6. Engaging with the unit employees on Change Management actions.
7. Liasoning with statutory authorities to support achievement of organizational goals
