Job Title : Head Pipe Plant Operation

Job Purpose :

Head of overall Operations of Plant , Use technical and managerial skill to achieve Business target with defined Business plan maintaining quality norms within estimated budget. To strive and achieve organizational goals to Develop and establish pipe business.

Job details :

- Collaborate and coordinate with marketing dept to meet clients and understand their need

- Responsible for certifications of plant and processes by customers, certifying agencies and different applicable standards

- Contribute in selection of right technology to produce Products to meet all applicable and up coming specifications and client requirements

- Developing annual, quarterly, monthly plan in line ABP

- Develops documented monitoring and control system through daily review.

- Manpower planning , job allocation and performance monitoring.

- Give inputs to planning dept for overall functioning of plant.

- Guide QA Manager to prepare MPS. and QAP and get it approved from clients before start of the production

- Monitor quality related Issues and take CAP action

- To oversee overall plant management & operations

- Co-Ordination among dept like Commercial, Marketing and Support Function.

- Monitor and review profitability.

- Multi skilling, Job rotation of personnel And Their Development

- Monitor manpower strength station wise , skill wise and dept. Wise

- Ensure safe working condition, safe work practices and safety culture ,

- Initiate the action to prevent occurrence of nonconformity relating to safety, comply EMS , OHSAS and statutory requirements .

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Minimum 20 years exp of leading operations for a mid to large size organization experience. Preferred exp in Pipes, Steel, Engineering.

- Knowledge of SAP is desirable

- Candidates preferred from pipe manufacturing Industry.

- Full-time B.E.in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy or equivalent field

- MBA in Operations/Finance preferred.

- Not older than 50 years

Technical Skills:

- Pipe manufacturing operations & process knowledge

- Steel metallurgy, exposure to mfg. codes related to pipes and tubes standards.

- Effective / Optimum utilization of Man, Material & Money

- Knowledge of QMS, HSE and OHSAS Codes
