Job Title: Plant HR Head Industrial Relations (Process Industry)


Role Overview:


We are seeking a senior Plant HR Head with strong Industrial Relations experience, capable of managing large workforces, contract labour, and high-intensity IR environments. The role demands deep understanding of labour laws, hands-on union management, and the ability to maintain IR stability at a large manufacturing plant. Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Industrial Relations & Compliance:


- Lead IR strategies and maintain harmonious labour relations.


- Manage negotiations, wage settlements, collective bargaining and long-term union agreements.


- Liaise with unions, labour authorities, and government bodies for compliance.


- Drive disciplinary actions and grievance redressal processes.


2. HR Strategy & Leadership:


- Lead the HR agenda at the plant in line with corporate HR policies.


- Execute manpower planning, organisational development, and capability-building initiatives.


- Strengthen HR governance and operational excellence.


3. Employee Relations & Engagement:


- Build a positive work environment via structured employee engagement programs.


- Improve retention, motivation, and performance of the workforce.


- Ensure structured grievance handling mechanisms.


4. Statutory Compliance & Risk Management:


- Ensure compliance with all labour laws, Factory Act, CLRA, PF, ESI and safety regulations.


- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to mitigate IR and statutory risks.


- Maintain all statutory records and documentation.


5. HR Operations & Contract Labour Administration:


- Oversee payroll, attendance, time office, and general HR operations.


- Manage large contract labour workforce and vendor compliance.


- Implement HRMS and digital HR tools for operational efficiency.


Key Requirements:


- Strong IR background with hands-on union management experience.


- Experience handling large workforces and extensive contract labour.


- Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.


- Strong stakeholder management across leadership, government authorities and workforce.


Special Requirements:


- Experience in process or large manufacturing industries is essential.


- Preference for candidates who have managed high manpower-intensive plant operations.
