Head - Planner - eCommerce Marketing Platform (8-12 yrs)

Client is a technology driven platform company that provides direct to consumer web commerce solutions for leading Retail Brands. Client, with its proprietary platform, integrates online and offline retail channels automating and optimizing Omni-Channel fulfilment. The platform provides brands with a single view of inventory. It helps reduce the costs and complexity of Omni-Channel transformation for brands by using their existing framework and systems.

Clients solutions are currently used by brands such as Ray-Ban, Puma, Max, Lifestyle, Fossil and more. Clients Omni-Channel platform comprising of technology, logistics and customer support enables brands and retailers to improve the post-click commerce experience of their customers

Bangalore Based Position,

Head - planning is responsible for the entire planning piece - sales planning, OTBs (budgets), analytics, pricing and markdown analysis inputs, margin management

The ideal candidate would be aggressive, ambitious organised & detail oriented, looks towards using data to ensure healthy top line, bottom line and lean inventory cover.

Responsibilities in detail :

- Responsible for planning process (E2E)

- Develop comprehensive pre-season planning strategy and seasonal assortment goals to support company's financial targets.

- Partner cross-functionally to develop and communicate division level financial merchandising plans that align with the company's financial objectives.

- Monitor merchandise inventory positions to maximize sales, profitability and achieve all operational targets (KPIs) for all product categories and all channel-verticals.

- Develop and manage robust OTB process, including analyzing performance by category/season, re-forecasting OTB to ensure financial targets are met.

- Partner with FP&A; to communicate risks and opportunities to financial plans.

- Manage all inventory forecasts to ensure alignment by channel, division, category and fiscal demand plans, as well as comply with open-to-buy constraints

- Partner with Merchants to develop and validate bottoms up projections to ensure topside financial targets are met

- Provide post season hindsight to identify and communicate learnings and recommendations for upcoming market

- Oversee the financial plans, class plans, flow and bottoms up door plans and ensure cohesion of all plans.

- Drive Process Innovation

- Ensure the timely execution of the pre and in season planning processes

- Develop and refine current processes to increase visibility and provide greater clarity to all cross-functional stakeholders.

- Partner with Account Services and Supply Chain to implement and develop in-season replenishment strategies

- Lead planning team in assessing and executing in-season replenishment

- Partner with Account services/Supply Chain to optimize inventory and maximize sales

- Be an advocate for your client at Ace Turtle

Job Requirements :

- 10+ years of Planning Experience

- Experience building a new planning team from the ground up a plus

- Strategic, pragmatic and result-oriented

- Experience in Retail and Wholesale Planning.

- Ability to lead, manage and inspire a team

- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset. Comfortable with ambiguity

- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to impact and forge strong relationships from executive to entry level

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel is a must (experience with Macros)

- Has a proven track record in using analytics as a tool to achieve KPIs

- Holds very strong problem-solving & analytical skills.

- Work daily in a fast-paced unstructured environment, in a rapidly growing industry.
