The CRS India program was established in 1946. The national office is in New Delhi and CRS has sub-offices in Lucknow and Chennai. CRS' work is guided by systems approach to achieve transformational change at scale. CRS works with local partner organizations to support and empower vulnerable communities and households through implementation of development, relief, and recovery programs

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, standards, tools, and best practices in partnership that effectively engages with partners, donors, academia, and governments. Help ensure a cross-sectoral approach integrating gender and protection mainstreaming, inclusive governance, resilience, and promotion of local leadership.

- Lead, plan, and support country program teams identify, manage, and nurture strategic partnerships with a range of organizations, including government, market, and civil society actors, including Church and other faith-based organizations.

- Provide leadership, guidance and support CRS India maintain and further develop its relationship and work with its existing strategic partners in close coordination with the country program and project leadership

- Provide solutions to partners and country program, remotely and on-site, for strategic planning and how to best apply program design and implementation standards, best practices, principles, tools, and monitoring and evaluation, ensuring high-quality implementation related to partnership.

- Contribute to capacity strengthening initiatives for partners to enhance institutional capacities through helping develop learning and training strategies and agendas/curriculums, conducting trainings and workshops, and mentoring/coaching.

- Champion and contribute to knowledge management and learning on partnership through collecting and analyzing program data, evaluating strategic projects, assisting with measuring program impact, capturing and sharing lessons learned and best practices, and research and internal reports.

- Manage and implement all activities for partnership projects and grants throughout relevant project cycles - project design, start-up, implementation and close-out - to ensure efficient and effective implementation in line with CRS program quality principles and standards, donor requirements, and good practices. Ensure project team and partner staff use the appropriate systems and tools.

- Effectively manage talent and supervise. Manage team dynamics and staff well-being. Provide coaching, strategically tailor individual development plans, contribute to the recruitment process of project staff, and complete performance management for direct reports.

- Coordinate and monitor financial and material resources relevant to the needs of partnership projects and in line with CRS budget management policies and practices. Through planning and oversight ensure efficient use of project resources.

- Represent CRS India with its partners and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Master's Degree in a relevant field or commensurate experience required.

- Minimum of five years relevant working experience in an advisory or management role with progressive responsibilities, ideally with an international NGO, with minimum of three years leading programming interventions in partnership

Required Skills:

- Demonstrated application of principles and concepts in partnership. General knowledge of other related disciplines to ensure proper cross-sectoral approach.

- Demonstrated attitude to handle and manage local partners in a culturally appropriate manner

- Experience in mentoring, coaching, facilitation, and training applying adult learning principles and practices.

- Experience with program monitoring and evaluation, including applying data collection tools and methodologies, data analysis, and data presentation.

- Experience and skills in networking and relations with donors, peer organizations, and faith-based and civil society partners. Understanding of partnership principles.

- Previous experience providing assistance and developing successful proposals for external donor funding is preferred.

- Proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, information and budget management systems, knowledge-sharing networks.

- Excellent relationship management and representational skills with ability to influence and get buy-in from people not under direct supervision and to work with individuals in diverse geographical and cultural settings.

- Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving and systems thinking skills with capacity to see the big picture and ability to make sound judgment

Must Have:

- Master's Degree in a relevant field or commensurate experience required.

- Strong oral and written English and Hindi, knowledge of other Indian languages will be an advantage.
