Key responsibilities

Operations and Supply Chain (80%)

- Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy

- End to end ownership of order management process, including order creation, fulfilment from warehouse, logistics management and timely customer communication

- Act as a key liaison on procurement, fulfilment, logistics, and customer support related issues

- Review/setup operational KPIs and deliver on those KPIs working with distribution team, warehouse team and external vendors

- Creating dashboards and periodic reports for the management team

- Creation of process maps as well regular optimization of processes

- Lead the identification of continuous improvement processes and opportunities and ensure timely implementation within the Operations team and in coordination with other teams (i.e. finance and IT), including adequate tools and systems

- Recruiting, onboarding, training and managing junior operations, support and resources

- Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities across supply chain operations

- Review client, customer, and user feedback

- Work with finance, sales, and internal product teams to determine best vendors and distributors

- Vendor management across the board including manufacturers, logistics, packaging etc.

- Inventory management and demand forecasting as well updating of inventory on other online marketplaces

- Coordinating with the warehouse team, including managing supplies of packaging materials, tracking utilization of assets

Product (20%)

- Assess enhancements and upgrades to existing product portfolio

- Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, aesthetic and reliability prior to delivery

- Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products

- Communicate quality standards and parameters to suppliers, product development team and other appropriate staff

- Identify and analyse issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitates solutions to these issues

- Lead key product and process improvement projects end-to-end

- Work with multiple stakeholders across manufacturing, IT, marketing and operations teams for project management at each stage

- Research and scout for emerging opportunities for product and process improvement
