Head - Operations Risk

Head - Operations Risk will be responsible for developing and implementing operational risk management frameworks, policies, and processes for the bank. The role involves identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating operational risks to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and international best practices. The individual will lead a team and work closely with various business units to enhance the bank's risk resilience and governance structure.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Operational Risk Management Strategy: Develop and execute the bank's operational risk framework, policies, and governance structure.

2) Risk Identification & Assessment: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across various business lines, processes, and technologies.

3) Incident Management & Reporting: Oversee risk events, loss reporting, and root cause analysis while implementing corrective actions.

4) Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, Basel III norms, and other regulatory requirements.

5) Business Continuity & Resilience: Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

6) Internal Control & Risk Culture: Strengthen internal control mechanisms and drive a risk-aware culture across the organization.

7) Technology & Cyber Risk Management: Collaborate with IT teams to assess and mitigate technology-related operational risks.

8) Audit & Governance: Work closely with internal audit teams to ensure strong risk governance and address findings effectively.

9) Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between risk management, business units, regulators, and senior leadership.

10) Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing operations risk management team.
