Client is a marketplace that connects customers with retailers of locally popular products (e.g Chickpet Sarees, Nagarathpet Jewellery, Commercial Street Fashion Accessories, HSR Home Decor Items etc.) through video/chat. Client owns the end to end customer journey from retailer discovery to product selection and home delivery. So far, client has 50 retailers onboarded in HSR Layout and we launched the beta version of our app on play store in November. Client is currently fine tuning the app based on initial customer feedback, and full-fledged customer acquisition will begin from the end of this week. Seed funding discussions are in mature stage and we intend to close the round within December. Operations Head Bangalore Responsibilities : 1. Create and execute the strategic roadmap for meeting merchant acquisition targets in Bangalore 2. Forge partnerships with local and regional store chains and brands 3. Own the merchant onboarding process and increase its efficiency 4. Drive the adoption of merchant app and the available features 5. Work along with product team on continuous improvement in merchant experience 6. Ensure updated catalogue (at sub-category level) for all merchants 7. Tie up with relevant delivery service partners and work with product team to enable automatic pick up and delivery through LEO app 8. Drive reduction in merchant churn rate and cost of merchant acquisition 9. Drive improvements in contribution margin through initiatives at the merchant end 10. Build and manage the ops team in Bangalore
