Head - Operations & Finance - Manufacturing Firm

A US based manufacturing client is looking to hire an Operations and Finance leader for its India operations.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Role demands bi-weekly local India travel and semi annual travel to the US. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing a team that streamlines and establishes robust processes related to metal working, specifically machining, with new and existing supply chains, quote management, Quality management, and logistics for metal parts and assy. Business unit will be measured based on operations geared towards operational efficiency, optimization and Western Quality Standards.

- Lead financial planning, manage taxes, Contracts, and risk assessment and mitigation to ensure financial compliance and augment organisational growth. In addition Lead IT systems and development

Skills Required :

- An ideal candidate would have 15-20 years experience managing and leading operations, preferably under manufacturing domain and has a desire to take on an independent leadership position to further his or her career. The Candidate is expected to have managed international clients, especially in North America and Europe and should be able to develop strategic partnerships with vendors in India.

- Incumbent is expected to be based out of or willing to relocate to Pune.
