Head - Operations - EPC Procurement

1. Lead and drive Operations Procurement function. Responsible for overall Enterprise common spend, Consolidation of Airports OPEX Spend and Procurement Services at SSC

Financials and AOP

Plan and Manage Operating manpower related AOP and Cost control for Group Wide Operations Procurement

People Management

i. Lead and setup Operations Procurement Team and organization

ii. Drive capability, competency and engagement management activities for the team

iii. Setup Operations Procurement BSC and manage employee performance management cycle

Group Wide Procurement Common and Airports Operational procurement

i. Ensure effective deployment of Group procurement policies and processes for operational procurement

ii. Implement common category management structure and operating processes for Group wide common categories/ spend

iii. Provide consultative oversight and review to Operational Procurement performance for each operating Airport

iv. Build operational synergies and drive Group Buying value for generic and airport wide common categories e.g. Facilities, Terminal Ops R&M, Security, Landscaping and horticulture, HVAC and MEP maintenance, etc.

v. Setup and drive standardized approach to Contracts and commercials formulation and adopt common governance standards for supplier review in consultation with Procurement COE head

vi. Lead value engineering and cost optimization approach through CFT mechanisms

Innovation and Excellence :

i. Support in implementation of Continuous improvement culture and training for the Group Procurement Organization.

ii. Drive Effective MIS and Visual reporting methods for Operations procurement monitoring

iii. Implement Operations procurement Spend Analytics and review processes for visibility and optimization opportunities

Vendor Management :

i. Ensure effective vendor management processes and drive vendor governance as per contractual terms and conditions

ii. Identify and develop alternative vendors for key common categories

SSC Process Transition, stabilization :

i. Lead Operational stabilization of all eSourcing and Centralized PR-PO process operations at SSC

ii. Ensure and drive Operational scope consistency across all sectors

iii. Ensure stabilization of SSC 3.0 Centre for Procurement Services Operations in Hyderabad

Required Skills & Experience :

- 16-18 years of total experience of which 3-4 years as heading procurement operations for a site or plant

- 10+ years of functional experience in large multi sector organizations preferably having experience across plants/ operations/ sites for procurement management including eProcurement, RFP, Reverse Auctions, Contract management and Vendor development

- Experience in Spend consolidation and harmonization of key operational categories - FMS, O&M, MRO, R&M, IT, Admin, Professional Services

- Exposure and basic certification in LEAN Six Sigma and / or other process improvement techniques

- Work experience on SAP ERP, eSourcing platforms including auctions, Category management and Workflow based Operations delivery

- Basic knowledge of IT Applications - Workflow solutions, Microsoft, Visio, Project Management systems,

- Strong Services Contract management experience

- Knowledge in Invoice processing and GST requirements

- Excellent industry networking and alliance management skills

- Knowledge and experience of leading and working with established Quality management systems such as ISO
