Job Overview To strategize, plan and run the company's reverse supply chain operations across multiple warehouses. To achieve productivity, throughput, SLA &amp; process compliance targets. Responsibilities and Duties - Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenses, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions proactively. - Maintain warehouse &amp; logistics staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. - Maintain control on all rewarding, storage and outwarding operations by enforcing processes, policies, programs &amp; procedures. - Enforce adherence to all legal &amp; compliance requirements. - Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system. - Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space by planning &amp; implementing innovative layout designs. - Improve increased productivity of warehouse staff by designing &amp; implementing efficient processes and intelligent assignment of staff across various activities. - Improve productivity &amp; efficiencies of overall warehouse operations by identifying opportunities for automation and executing those automations by working with IT team. - Vendor management Qualifications - BE/ B. Tech/ MBA/ PGDM preferably with specialization in supply chain - 12-15 years of experience in and in depth understanding of all facets of warehouse &amp; logistics operations. Supply chain &amp; logistics expert. - Excellent commercial acumen with a frugal &amp; strategic mindset and in depth understanding of Indian transport industry. - Exposure to warehouse management systems and latest automation tools. - Knowledge of latest best warehouse management practices in the industry. - Experience in implementing a warehouse management system and automation tools will be preferable.
