Head - Operations - Back Office

This is for a UK based early-stage startup that is revolutionizing the photography industry

Location: Remote (Anywhere in India) - WFH

The ideal candidate for this role is excited about what we do, who we are, and is ready to be a part of our business.

- Daily Supervision of staff, including project output, addressing issues and resolving and escalating to senior management where required.

- Run daily team meetings covering the post-production requirements needed

- Ensure that all QA and editing by the team is completed to the highest standards and to schedule, manage, review, and approve department hours ensuring and highlighting any concerns to senior management.

Main Responsibilities:

- Responsible for delivery of media assets to SLA timeframes and standards to all clients across all remote post-production teams and products.

- Measure and analyze the PP team's productivity, quality, and speed, propose improvement changes; work closely with Process Lead to develop and improve processes and process adherence within the media delivery chain.

- To work with the tech team and process manager to engineer and manage metrics output to create datasets that effectively identify areas for performance improvement;

- Understand the impact of the technical capabilities over media delivery, trigger changes in the technical environment, so the post-production KPIs are delivered and consistently improved

- Collect/analyze the feedback from internal and external clients, understand/sustain the implementation of changes required to improve delivery performance, real and perceived

- To ensure that HR actions triggered by the system are both proportional and being effectively actioned; collect and use relevant HR data in performance appraisals, triggered and scheduled and to ensure process adherence in this

- To train/coach and mentor the direct reports so they can effectively manage their teams;

- To manage and appraise managers, identify management talent and skills development opportunities and assist managers in creating their own L&D journey with L&D lead

- To oversee talent acquisition team

- To develop alignment with L&D lead in learning requirements integration of learning into work-chain

- To oversee onboarding process for production staff including compliance, data, and document validation to ensure the foundations are set

- To manage team leads in their management of Supervisors/QAs

- To be part of strategic discussions as part of the leadership team

- To report on, manage and improve unit costs as appropriate
