Head - Operational Risk/Enterprise Risk Management - Financial Institution

This is for the role of a Head ORM/ERM with a leading Financial Institution in Mumbai.

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities:

1. Managing and ensuring smooth running of daily operations of the department.

2. Leading a team and working collaboratively with other stakeholders in the organisation to ensure that risk management objectives are met.

3. Managing in stress testing pertaining to various risks including Operational Risk, Reputation Risk, etc.

4. Well versed with analytical and logical reasoning skills.

5. Measure risk reward and apply the same in decision making.

6. Track / suggest and implementing and managing BCP, DR and outsourcing framework

7. Understanding of framework for measurement and monitoring of Reputation Risk and its various drivers

8. Understanding of technology risks.

9. Familiar with techniques of model construction and model validation

10. Assist in coordinating information releases to internal and external stakeholders in order to maintain a transparent system.

11. Handle delegation of work by involving right people so as to improve productivity.

12. Setting KRAs for department aligned with the organisational goals

Requirements:

1. Candidate should have overall 10-15 yrs experience with at least 6-8 years in Operational Risk Management/Enterprise Risk Management in a Bank/Consulting firm

2. Should have experience of leading a team and working collaboratively with other stakeholders in the organisation to ensure that risk management objectives are met

3. Should be well versed with methodology, implementation and maintenance of Risk Registers, Risk Control Assessment Framework, Key Risk Indicators, etc.

4. Should have experience in implementing and managing BCP, DR and outsourcing framework

5. Should have understanding of framework for measurement and monitoring of Reputation Risk and its various drivers

6. Should have an understanding of technology risks

7. Should be familiar with techniques of model construction and model validation

8. Should have experience in stress testing pertaining to various risks including Operational Risk, Reputation Risk, etc.

9. Should have very strong analytical and logical reasoning skills and should be able to measure risk reward and apply the same in decision making

10. Should have excellent communication skills
