trading/distribution environments

Role Objective

To enhance efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness across our operational workflows,

ensuring timely order fulfillment, optimized logistics, and smooth coordination between

suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate current operational workflows and build scalable SOPs for sales, fulfillment, billing, and customer service.

- Streamline coordination between procurement, logistics, and customer to reduce turnaround times and errors.

- Implement process automation tools (CRM, order management, billing systems) to eliminate manual inefficiencies.

- Develop key metrics and dashboards to track operational KPIs such as order cycle time, delivery accuracy, and vendor performance.

- Optimize third-party logistics and warehousing arrangements to improve cost and delivery performance.

- Introduce lean practices in order processing, dispute resolution, and customer communications.

- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions on payment delays, order mismatches, or inventory gaps.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all support functions.

- Coordinate closely with sales and finance to ensure seamless back-end support.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Management.

- 812 years of relevant experience in operational excellence roles, ideally in steel trading, logistics, or a B2B distribution setup.

- Familiarity with digital tools (ERP, CRM, process automation platforms).

- Strong process-mapping and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and execution mindset.

- Prior startup experience is a strong plus.
