The company is a digital infrastructure startup, headquartered in India and backed by a large private asset management fund that is setting up "Carrier Neutral Optical Fiber companies & cloud fabric" across emerging Asia Pacific economies. The position reports into the COO of the company. Name of the company shall be revealed to candidates who meet the basic screening criteria and are invited to interview for the position. Location: Mumbai / Gurgaon. Mumbai is the preferred location, and anyone based out of a 3rd location will be required to relocate to Mumbai. What is on offer?: - Opportunity to join a leadership role: Head of Network Operations and Management vertical. The company is carrier neutral cloud fiber operator in South/South East Asia (India and Indonesia as a start), which is backed by a large global PE fund with +5B USD in digital infra investments globally and a world class management team. - The role is overall accountable for performance and availability of the network. - We are looking for a top notch network operations professional with deep experience in transport and fiber networks, but willing to apply past knowledge and experience to solve new issues. Must have -ability to have a entrepreneur approach with growth mindset. - The company is currently executing a dramatically new market approach to solving quality and availability issues in conventional fiber and transport networks and this leadership role -would need to apply past experience to approach nonconventional fresh solution angles in network operations quality Professional Qualifications: a) B-Tech Electrical / Electronics and Telecommunications or Computer Science Engineering b) Post-graduation is not a must but will be preferable qualification c) 20+ years of experience with at least 6+years in similar role and capacity d) 10+ years of people / large teams management experience e) Work experience in India and or abroad with national level telecom provider and experience in rolling out high-capacity metro & NLD transport networks nationwide f) Intimate knowledge of different Fiber network types - Utilities, OPGW, Underground Fiber, transport technologies as DWDM, Router etc. g) Should have intimate knowledge of different transport & IP protocols as MPLS h) &gt;30% Travel is required - countrywide and International Detailed statements on Key responsibilities, core competencies, knowledge and experience are available and will be shared directly with applicants.
