Reports to : National Sales Head

No of Position : 1

Location : Ahmedabad Location (Corporate Office)

Industry Preference : FMCG (Food/ Non-Food)

Job Summary : To head and Drive Trade Marketing function

Key Stakeholders : Zonal sales head, Marketing, Trade Marketing, GDSO (Supply Chain Management), IT and Human Resource

CTC : Depend on Current CTC

Pre-requisite :

Essential Qualification : Graduate in any discipline with a degree in Management from reputed institute

Experience : 10 - 20 years of experience of which 10 - 15 years in FMCG sales

Preferred Age Group : 35-45 years

- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage change and develop people

- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and negotiation skill

Key Responsibilities :

- Design trade activation programs for General Trade, Low end Food service and key account channels that drives volume growth & builds strong trade relationships

- Develop norms for Trade marketing

- Design and Implement channel specific and region specific trade activation programs

- Plan and implement promotions and BTL activities along with the marketing function

- Create trade marketing calendar (activation programs/ visibility/ promotions) for the year

Budget :

- Plan and manage all BTL spends across brands and regions

- Ensure adherence to budgets and maximize impact of trade spends

Monitoring and Review :

- Review and assess effectiveness of trade schemes/ promotions and other activities

- Evaluate impact and make changes in the trade marketing calendar as required

Competition intelligence :

- Track competition activity around the trade and adapt plans accordingly

- Gather insights from market data around sales

Insight Generation :

- Gather insights and understand motivations drivers for activation in the context of the different channels: Wholesale, Retail, Chemist, General Stores, Cosmetics, Dairy etc.
