About Company : Reputed FMCG Company which deals with the Personal care and a multi-brand, multi-product company with operations all over the nation.

Position : Head - Modern Trade

Work Location : Mumbai

Job Description :

Developing and Implementing :

- Develop and ensure implementation of Sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of Pan India within budgeted costs

- Achieve primary and secondary sales ensuring effective distribution of Company's products

- Propose sales promotion plan/schemes to the Sales Head

- Provide input in the generation of the SKU's intake/sales forecast

- Working as part of a Key Account team to ensure results are reached according to account plans

Manage inventory levels in accordance with company policy's by accurate demand forecasting & mix management :

- Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies including Company/local Trade policy, local Sales policies, local Trade Terms, Safety and local and legal regulations

Identifying and Monitoring Distributors :

- Identify and network with distributors, Chains for deeper market penetration and reach

- Work closely with dealers and distributors and assist them to promote the Company's products

Monitoring :

- Participate in the sales planning exercise for ongoing business as well as evolve a robust GTM model for the future in line with business plans. Provide information about market trends, competitor's sales practices and potential projects.

- Plan and monitor new product launches in co-ordination with the Marketing Team

People Management :

- Hire, train and appraise sales staff in line with company policy

- Coordinate with Distribution Planning & Logistics Team for successful planning of distribution of SKUs

- Accountable and responsible to ensure achievement of agreed Key Accounts targets/KPIs.
