This role would be responsible for establishing best in class sales systems and processes for Modern Trade and Key Account development programs. This role is a national role and would require to work with the Sales Head towards creation and execution of a blueprint towards building a future ready sale organization both short term and long-term. Be the custodian of all National level initiatives and priorities in the area of Modern Trade. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the implementation of the Modern Trade drive and implementation as per agreed blueprint - The responsibilities range from the planning, development and execution of the Marketing strategies to maintain and give continuity to the relationships with our strategic partners. - Obtaining growth results at the country level and in each strategic account. - Ensure the development and compliance of the different accounts and channel's responsibility, leading national trade agreements. - Manage sales relationship of Emerging National Key Account and other Indigenous accounts and manage sales generation - Strengthen relationships with buyers and managers, planning and implementation of new projects, promotional activities, marketing campaigns, customized campaigns appropriate to customers - Responsible for the development and implementation of customer business plans - Drives customer sales performance by the category while developing a best in class understanding of the customer, using this to develop, agree and set the long-term VISION & Strategic direction for the customer(s) - Play an active and appropriate role in selling and negotiating major objectives - Build the cross functional team's knowledge and ability to execute the plans in the customer - Drive the strategic management of other Modernized Trade channel - This will be achieved by working closely with the Sales Managers in operations and their teams, ensuring that the communication processes of the expected execution standards, business development initiatives and volume driving programs are clearly understood by all members of their team. - Focus on managing customer profitably. Responsible for P&L accounts, profitability. Seek opportunities to grow in the market: developing strategies, new products, brands and formats to compete in different segments and markets - To be responsible for delivering budgeted sales and profit for the Modern Trade National outlets through the implementation of defined packaging, pricing strategies and innovative volume driving promotional programs. - Responsible for generating forecast per account and responsible for the main sales channel of the Customer, aiming at profitability, sales volume, market share, visibility, point of sale execution and efficiency for the supermarket channel, with focus on category development, aligned with customer strategies, that ensure sustainable growth of the Customers - This role will also be responsible for communication of the expected execution standards, business development initiatives and volume driving programs for National Key accounts to the operations team.
