The Head of Modern Trade & E-commerce Sales would have the overall responsibility of achieving the top line and profitability targets of the region/geography being headed by them.
- Drive sales of the products in the Modern Trade Channel by executing marketing programs, Joint Business Planning & Driving key metrics such as Line Fill, OTIF etc. This position will be responsible for directly managing all the Major Key Account partners, with channel marketing responsibilities & high level of interactions with the business divisions.
- Building and execution of the Channel Strategy
- The Manager will need to build excellence in operations through business analytics & work with the general trade teams to drive Modern Trade growth.
- Responsible for developing and nurturing relationship with modern trade customers.
- Joint Business Planning with the customer teams
- Signing Terms of Trade ( TOT ) & agreements with each individual customers
- Market Planning and Analytics
- Working with the broader marketing organization to increase expertise in customer, market, and competitive intelligence.
- Implementing marketing programs & execution in the channel
- Develop Business intelligence capabilities including areas of competitor tracking
- Driving growth through Promoter organization which is critical to success
- Recommending key approaches to gain market intelligence, prioritizing areas of focus, and sharing critical information.
- Responsible for managing the P&L for the online retail channel, delivering on short term and long term plans, including delivery against budget.
- Building and execution of the Channel Strategy
- Tying up with all major e-commerce market places for placement of our products
- Maximizing online sales performance of our online presence through effective day to day adaptations of the site, increasing conversion, AOV, promotional activity and minimizing customer bounce rates.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and journey from landing on the site through to product delivery including click and collect from the brand's extensive retail network.
- Responsible for optimizing e-commerce marketing investment to maximize sales across all channels
Desired Candidate :
- Master's in Business Administration in Sales and Marketing preferably from a premier business school with 6+ years of experience
- Proven sales experience in consistently meeting or exceeding targets- comparable industries is preferable
- Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
