The ideal candidate would be playing a senior managerial role in merchandising at a wholesale solutions focused consumer goods/trading company, with prior experience in relevant roles, preferably at consumer goods firms. S/he would majorly be responsible for the following: - Developing and implementing an annual buying plan for the company - Relationship management with key strategic FMCG partners & vendors, thereby driving value for the business - Maintaining a detailed understanding of the current product mix and making effective additions to it - Annual range plan and merchandise strategy devpt. for the company - Understanding mkt. trends through data analysis forecasting - Planning for the optimum range with the accountability of pricing and cost negotiations - Managing 4-5 professionals with responsibility for their growth in the organization Stock options available for the right talent.
