Job description Head - Merchandising for an apparel brand Location - Mumbai & Delhi One of our very large clients is looking for a candidate for the position of Head - Merchandising for its brand. Below are the job responsibilities & candidate qualification criterion list - 1. Communication- Candidate would be the single point of contact between internal (purchase department, production department & management) & external (fabric manufacturers, outsourced vendors) stakeholders. 2. Sampling - Candidate should- ve complete knowledge of various steps involved in sampling & be responsible for end to end sampling process. 3. Accessories & trims - The candidate should have knowledge of various accessories & trims involved in the entire process. 4. Quality reports - Candidate should have the capability to get testing done as per clients mandate. 5. Inspection & Audits - Candidate would be involved in the overall process of inspection & audit. Candidate qualifications - 1. Candidate should be from a tier 1 fashion institute preferably from NIFT 2. Candidate should have an experience of minimum 5 years 3. Candidate should have great inter personal skills. 4. Candidate should have a great passion to excel & do well. 5. Candidate should have some experience in managing a team.
