Role Brief: The Media Head will be responsible for managing, developing and driving media &amp; communications strategy and activity, including media buying and planning initiatives. Working closely with the Marketing team &amp; other functions, the incumbent will be responsible for maximizing awareness of multiple brands with in the companies portfolio using multiple media channels (press, TV, outdoors and radio) to support immediate and long term business goals in a creative and cost effective manner. The role holder focuses on developing, prioritizing and leading traditional media, marketing initiatives and providing high quality support to local &amp; regional business teams to plan and buy media, interpret media research results. The role holder is responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of the multi-media investments and development of proven and new media channels. He/she is owner of the relationship with the media agency. Job Responsibilities: - Formulate and implement media strategy across the brands in order to raise awareness, drive business and enhance reputation - Ensure that all media communications activity (i.e. press, radio TV, outdoors) is integrated with marketing and other strategic campaigns and projects - Benchmark media processes with the industry &amp; improve upon the same. - Utilize available media vehicles effectively &amp; create new opportunities whenever required - Undertake analysis and research as befitting the media function and monitor &amp; report on all outputs, evaluating the effectiveness of media communications activity - Drive analysis of media plans, results and data to help inform brand strategies - Aggregating digital insights to describe changing consumer journeys to describe how media can help brands outperform in their objectives - Identify and leverage key strategic media partnership opportunities as well as test and learn programs within new channels to drive learning and performance - Lead and be responsible for the successful implementation &amp; execution of all media plans across digital, TV, print, out of home, cinema and all other channels across brands - Lead annual paid media negotiations for the company across all paid channels - Ongoing management of media execution to ensure regular and relevant optimization by relevant agency or partner - Manage and optimize media budgets across all channels of communication - Devises plans for media buying, placing ads, and ensuring ad buying stays within budget - Accountable for the efficiency and effectiveness of local media plans and creating a ROI feedback loop to ensure lessons learned are driving brand education and performance
