Head - Media Buying - Internet/Online (6-14 yrs)

- Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership, and traffic and implement and manage social media programs.

- Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities (marketing R&D).

- Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the use of social media. Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

- Strategize with and educate people in incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company's products and services.

- Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts.

- Managing profiles and pages on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other community sites.

- Ability to generate engaging and interesting posts in both written and visual forms (infographics.) Creating blogs and publishing content on blogs.

- Managing Message Boards and Social Media content writing.

- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

- Evaluation & negotiation with publishers for a long-term deal.

- Coordinating with the design & creative team for media buy creative of high quality.

- Identifying the target audience for a particular media campaign and deciding how best to communicate to that audience.

- Keeping up to date with industry research figures, including distribution figures for newspapers and magazines and audience figures for television and radio.

- monitoring buying strategies.

- Liaising and building relationships with clients and media sales companies

- Negotiating with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media spaces in online, broadcast and print advertising.
