Head - Mechanical Design - Industrial Automation

Job Description :

1. Understanding the strength and limitation of various sensor like LVDT/Distance/Force Torque/pressure/Photo/laser.

2. Understanding the strength and limitation of various type of motors like Induction/Servo/Speed control/compact

3. Understanding the strength and limitation of various Pneumatic and hydraulic components

4. Knowledge of automation and controls related to machinery design.

5. Knowledge of metallurgy and manufacturing process for machine parts

6. Well versed with international standards and materials related to machine building.

7. Experience in project/program management of design projects.

8. Knowledge of CREO/Pro-E and Solids works

Job Responsibilities :

1. Design and development of material handling system (conveyors, Different type of Parcel Sorters, Weight and Dimension Measurement System, Automatic Storage and retrieval System etc.), and special purpose machine.

2. Study of new application at customer end.

3. Providing technical proposal

4. Manage and Lead a Team of competent Design Engineer.

5. Getting the design made through design engineers and releasing for manufacturing

6. Development of designs/features for product quality improvements, cost saving, import substitution etc.

7. Provide leadership for existing as well as emerging product and application technologies through an understanding of customer and business needs.

8. Capability to provide internal design consultancy across the organization for emerging design/machinery problems faced by different Divisions
