Head - Material Management - FMCD/FMCG/Manufacturing

Looking for Head Material Management based at Metros.

Purpose of the Job

- This is a leadership position and will be part of the Supply Chain leadership.

- To focus on Efficient Planning of Material for On-time Network Deployment.

- Key responsibility of leading and driving demand and supply planning for the organization's procured materials.

- Will own end to end inventory targets across all categories and own ordering, as well as in-warding of material to ensure the right material is available on time and place needed in each of company regions.

- Redesign a more efficient and effective network - drive warehouse and logistic Process Governance with 3rd Party Logistics and Warehouse Management Partners

- The role owns and drives the materials management transformational agenda by re-designing existing supply chain processes and then digitizing end to end these processes by leveraging state of the art supply chain IT tools

- Ensure Scrap sales of un-used material at warehouse and optimize space and warehouse footprint

- Govern and monitor Custom clearance process for supporting material availability from Global Suppliers

- Work with stakeholders to ensure to End to End Material Management Agenda is driven

What you need to have

- Around 12-18 years of progressive supply chain operations and material management experience.

- Hands on experience of setting up S&OP (supply and operations planning) processes, logistics, forecasting, capacity planning, and process engineering will be a critical for this role.

- Ability to work cross functionally to drive materials management agenda for company clear communication and influencing skills are critical for the role.

- Ability to cope with a level of complexity and ambiguity and must have an ability to drive the agenda independently.

- Experience/Understanding of Supply Chain applications around Master Data Management, Planning, Forecasting, WMS, ERP.
